Alright, y'all GUESS WHAT? (Okay, maybe I gave it away with the post title. But that's kind of part of the job.) IT'S TIME FOR THE SILMARIL AWARDS... (seventh annual! yay!) AND I'M HOSTING ONE. (It's a huge honor, guys. I still have a little bit of imposter syndrome over it, to be honest.) Of course, you're wondering, I'm sure, what the Silmaril Awards are. (Unless you already know what they are, in which case, please skip my explanation and proceed.) In a nutshell: The Silmaril awards are like Tonys or Oscars or Golden Globes...but for fantasy characters. January was kind of a weird month. Nothing happened, and yet I was busy all the time. Thus, the "life" section of this post is going to be rather boring, because what I was busy with was mostly school. But I did watch a whole lot of Marvel movies! *bounces into the blog* HELLO WONDERFUL PEOPLES OF THE INTERNET! I am here on a Monday in September, and you know what that means? IT'S SILMARIL TIME!!! *dances tiny jig* I'm so excited to host another Silmaril this year! They're a massive highlight of the blogging year for me (even if they make my dorm room super crowded, and last year's Silmarils resulted in the PDA levels at Newman skyrocketing exponentially ;)).
